Westercon 55: Conagerie
Locus Awards Banquet
Westercon's traditional Locus Banquet will be held at Conagerie on Friday evening. There will be a cash bar begining at 7:00 p.m., with dinner being served at 8:00 p.m., and the awards ceremony following at about 8:30 p.m.
 The menu will be: Choice of entrée: Chicken Marsala Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast served with a Shitake Mushroom Marsala - - or - - Mahi Mahi Char Grilled Mahi Mahi topped with Fresh Mango Papaya Salsa with Fresh Seasonal Vegetables Garlic mashed potatoes Sacher Torte (for dessert) A vegetarian alternative will also be offered Tickets will be $35.00 each (yes, this is lower than listed in Progress Report 3!). If you would like to attend, you may do so quickest by purchasing your ticket right now using this lovely paypal button provided for your convenience: You may also send in a check for your ticket(s) to: P.O. Box 8442 Van Nuys, CA 91409 Just indicate that it's for Locus Banquet tickets, and again, please don't forget to tell us which entrée you wish. You may also email in your reservation and pay for your tickets at the con. (We'll be set up somewhere near registration to handle the banquet ticket sales.) Please email Liz Mortensen, the Locus Banquet Coordinator, by clicking on the squirrel: Again, please don't forget that pesky meal choice. Lastly, you can wait until you arrive at the convention, and hope that we're not sold out! We don't really recommend this option, but you know, we're all fans. If you really think you want to go, just email (see above) and pay when you get to the con. Also, please note that the Locus Awards Ceremony itself is open to the entire convention - you do not have to purchase a ticket to the banquet just to see the Award Ceremony. Seating will be provided for anyone wishing to come at 8:30 p.m. and just view the awards presentation.
