The Westercon Bylaws & Business page has been updated with the minutes of the 2025 Westercon Business Meeting held at Westercon 77 in Santa Clara, links to the video of the Business Meeting, and the updated Bylaws for use at the 2026 Westercon (Westercon 78).

The Business Meeting ratified one amendment to the Bylaws, broadening the range of dates recommended (it was never a requirement) for holding Westercon. The meeting then gave first passage to a motion that would repeal the Westercon Bylaws entirely, providing that if the proposal is ratified at the 2026 Westercon, any Westercons selected would continue to be held, but would not hold a Business Meeting or a Site Selection. This proposal must be ratified at Westercon 78 in Santa Clara, California in order to take effect.
